So, when you take to clearing out old emails during a movie, it might be an indication this movie is not worth your precious time. In this slow-starting movie starring former pro wrestler CM Punk (first red flag), a couple buys a house-with-a-history in the suburbs (sigh). When “Don/King Don/Tiger” (second red flag) moves there ahead of his pregnant wife in order to fix up the house, he soon learns that mysterious oozing goo, weird mirrors, and various sized rolling balls/marbles are just part of the house’s unique quirks. And when a hot, young neighbor starts trolling for sex, how can he refuse? (FLAG!) As the house gets crazier, and Don gets, um, even weirder, so many tropes start flying around it’s easy to lose track (hence, deleting old email).
Will Tiger and his wife (who shows up late in the movie) discover the house’s sordid past and how to control it? Will the sexy neighbor finally give up her seduction? And, most importantly, will someone please tell me why I never pay attention to all those red flags?
